My Opinion About GreatestAnimeSource:
There are plenty of sites claiming to be the greatest anime source, but it's hard not to believe a site that is actually called the Greatest Anime Source. What you have here is a site that has been around for a good five years at least and with this amount of time under its wings, it would be very surprising to find anything other than a massive archive of steamy hot hardcore anime.
Until you get into the members' area, it isn't clear what sort of bonuses you get with GreatestAnimeCource, but it doesn't take long to figure it out. The first piece of news I read in the feed was how to access another site called 3DSexStories, but this is only part of it. On the members' page is a list of content categories. Most of these will direct you to specific art and toons including anime videos as well as doujinshi, comics, American and European manga, sailor X, cartoons and hentai. At the end of this list is a link to a forum, plugins and a bonus area called Gold Bonuses. On this page are games, flash toons, wild erotic stories, jokes, more plugins and even some extra videos and photos. Considering the fee, these bonuses are a welcome addition. However, it's not as if Great Anime Source doesn't already offer members quite a bit of content.
As mentioned, the menu lists a lot of different content categories. In fact, there are 11 image/toon/comics areas and one video section. Each of the content areas presents 12 sets of toons, art or manga etcetera on a single page. There isn't an index to jump from page one to 30 for example, and you'll have to click on the "next" button to uncover just how many pages of content there is, in actuality. This becomes exceptionally tiresome, particularly when trying to count the content, but even if I wasn't doing so, the process of looking for exciting sets would be daunting. More extensive browsing tools is something the site could offer more of, especially when you realize there are well over 8,000 sets of content.
The one thing I found curious was the anime video archive. It's right there, in your face and listed in the menu and so you'd think it'd be exploding with content. I clicked the link and was prompted to re-enter my username and password, but this became an effort in futility. It turns out that there aren't any anime videos featured in the main content area, but rather there are only the bonus videos and plugins offering a mix of real-life porn and Flash toons. It's a little disappointing, but like I said, there is a huge amount of image and comic content.
Greatest Anime Source updates very frequently, although you can never tell whether the next update will be a comic, 3D art or a manga gallery. There can be multiple updates, though, and so the chances of finding new stuff in three or more categories is fairly high. Some galleries appear to house a patchwork of images that seem unrelated, but end up being from the same artist or source. Other galleries include complete storylines. The one thing I did like about the organization, and I didn't particularly like a lot about it, was that you could immediately discern between those sets that might include English text and more pure manga, for example, that reveal the sex stories in their original language. For purists, this is a treat. However, you should also note that those sets coming out of Japan do tend to have images that are censored, meaning the genitalia is pixillated. Nevertheless, images, which can range in size, are generally large and hover between 800x600 and 1750x1240 pixels.
Final Verdict:
Great Anime Source is in fact a very large archive where you'll find literally hundreds of exciting themes, a diverse range of hardcore action and a varied spectrum of toon styles. Doujinshi, manga, anime, hentai, sailor-x, 3D art and even BDSM themes are abundant and there are also works from Japanese, American and European artists. However, despite that the site claims to have videos, there aren't any, at least not any primary featured ones, but this isn't too disappointing considering the wide range of content. The quality is good and you get a lot of content for the price, but organization could most certainly be improved.
